Izim Cetindag

Izim Cetindag is a British-born, Turkish abstract artist based in Geneva, Switzerland.

She completed her education in Turkey.  

She has had a passion for art since the age of seven.  She attended drawing courses during her schooling period. 

She moved to Geneva in 2003 and started panting, first with oil,  with artist Rosario Lyon and continued with art instructor Mary Rose Tudeau at the Ecole de Bois Caran in Geneva for four years.

In parallel to her abstract painting, she started a 'Painting to rescue' campaign in March 2021, in order to raise funds for PIT (Pet in Turkey), a non-profit organisation whch takes care of stray dogs in Turkey. She has currently made 23 dog and cat portraits which are made to commission and donated to PIT.
