Jürgen Brodwolf, born in Dübendorf, Switzerland, in 1932, is renowned for his so-called —human figures rendered in both painting and sculpture that often resemble wrapped or mummified forms. His work bridges drawing, object art, and sculpture, frequently addressing existential themes of vulnerability, memory, and transformation.

Today, Jürgen Brodwolf's works are represented in major international collections, including the Kunstmuseum Basel, Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
