Charles-Auguste Humbert

Charles Auguste Humbert (1891 - 1958, Switzerland) was a Swiss artist, primarily known for his work as a painter. 

He lived during a time when Swiss art was experiencing significant development, influenced by European artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Humbert studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva, where he was trained in classical painting techniques. Over time, he developed a personal style oscillating between realism and a more impressionistic approach.
