Reem Yassouf

Syrian French artist Reem Yassouf was born in 1979. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Damascus in 2000.

Her signature is dominant, in white and gray shades and strong grounding shadows, contrasting the light portrayals of floating figures that bear symbols related to the world of childhood. Reem Yassouf’s work is poetic and ethereal.

She has taken part in several solo and collective exhibitions in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Dubai, Germany, Qatar, England, France, Italy, Netherlands and the United States. The artist currently lives and works in France.
