Biography

Born in Miluojiang, Hunan Province, China in 1932. Chu joined the National Palace Museum as an expert in bronze ware at the age of 37. A poet, art critic, bronze ware expert, painter as well as sculptor, he has been one of the most prominent advocates of Taiwan modern art movement.
