Biography
Ugandan painter Ian Mwesiga was born in Kampala in 1988. He received his BA in Industrial Fine Art and Design from Makerere University in 2014.
Mwesiga's style, a rejection of the realist painting he was taught, plays with traditional perspective and ratio to create a unique dimensionality.
Mwesiga has exhibited his work across the African continent, with shows in Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda.
