Michael Roberts

Michael Roberts, British fashion journalist and illustrator born in 1947, studied graphic design and design at Wycombe College of Art.

Fashion editor/director, at The Sunday Times, Vanity Fair in New York, British Vogue, New Yorker magazines.

He is now a fashion photographer for various Vogue affiliates around the world, GQ America and England, Sunday Times.

He is also the author of illustration books (Fashion Victims...)

He is also a set photographer (film Victoria - with Emily Blunt -2009)

Mr. Roberts was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2022.

In a Vogue interview, he says he finds the fashion industry tough and sad. Thus, he wrote Fashion Victims, a satirical book of anagrams giving voice to those who are victims.
