Biography
LAT possesses the world's largest archive of motorsport images. Their storage room houses over 18 million images, approximately half of which are negatives, or even glass plates, in black and white.
From the very first edition of "Autocar" published in 1895, to the present day, all kinds of road races and Grand Prix events have been featured, with a sharp increase in volume from 1924 onwards, followed by the first color photos in the mid-1950s.
