Biography
Matthew Levinson is an artist from Rochester, NY, USA. His styles vary from Geometric Abstraction to Abstract Expressionism. In his artwork, he implements unique and dynamic colour schemes and compositions, often playing with forms and negative space, to create depth, energy and feeling. An underlying theme in Matthew's work is Structure vs Chaos. It is the balance between these two forces that allows the beauty of randomness, and the order of logic to both flourish in his art at the same time. Matthew is inspired by the endless possibilities and patterns formed in nature, which propel him to explore spontaneity and the unknown.
