Elena Sol

United States • 1965

A painting is not just an image. This is a dialogue between two souls - the viewer and the artist.

Biography

Elena Sol is a contemporary abstract artist. Her artistic practice is centered on light, sincerity, and the emotional connection between artwork and viewer.

Elena came to painting after a rich creative background that included music, singing, and guitar. Today, painting has become her primary language—a way to express inner vision with openness and emotional clarity.

Working primarily with acrylic on linen canvas, she incorporates texture paste to build dimensional surfaces that engage both visually and physically. For Elena, texture is not only a technique but a way to add depth and invite a slower, more attentive viewing experience. Light plays a central role in her work—both as a physical phenomenon and as a metaphor for hope, warmth, and life.

Her paintings explore themes of harmony, nature, and the quiet beauty of everyday existence. Through color, contrast, and luminous compositions, she creates images that evoke calm, inspiration, and a sense of presence.

Elena Sol has participated in international exhibitions across the United Kingdom, Turkey, India, and beyond, including Between Heaven and Earth (UK), From Russia With Love (Ankara), and ArtNouva (Turkey). Her work has received multiple international awards, including First Prize distinctions in competitions in Singapore, Turkey, the UAE, South Korea, and Georgia.

A member of the Eurasian Art Union, Elena Sol creates paintings that function as quiet spaces of reflection—inviting the viewer into a dialogue of light, emotion, and inner harmony.
