Lélia Pissarro (1963 – ): Lélia Pissarro is a French-British painter and printmaker, and a member of the renowned Pissarro family of artists. Born in London in 1963, she is the great-great-granddaughter of Impressionist Camille Pissarro and the daughter of painter Hugues Claude Pissarro. Her work draws on the traditions of Impressionism while incorporating a contemporary approach, with paintings often depicting landscapes, city scenes, interiors, and figures through vibrant color, expressive brushwork, and atmospheric light. Pissarro has exhibited internationally and is particularly recognized for her colorful, impressionistic style.
