Biography

Jane Jones (1953 - ): An American born artist who is highly respected for her simple still lifes that are highlighted by the light source to depict her subjects' special qualities.  Jones graduated from Metropolitan State College and Regis University before returning to teach at the Art Students League (Denver) MSC and Red Rocks Community College.  When Jones found time to paint, she won many awards and recognitions, including: 4 Awards from the American Artists Professional League and membership.  Today her dynamic works are prominent features in many respected institutions across the globe like the Gilgrease Museum and National Museum of Wildlife Art, where they are appreciated by critics and collectors alike.
