Biography
The Birth year is unknown and the year 1935 is just an estimate. Roberta de la Vega was inspired to paint from an early age and started by doing portraits of friends and relatives. She began to paint professionally in Venice, CA during the 1960s, at which point she started taking trips to Mexico, where she found inspiration in addition to that of her colorful West Texas heritage and ancestry.
