Description
This artwork presents an intriguing blend of abstract pattern and numerical elements, encapsulated within a sleek, modern frame. The central focus is a vibrant grid, composed of interwoven lines in shades of red, black, and purple, forming a dynamic, textured tapestry. This intricate lattice is disrupted by a large, semi-circular white void on the left, creating a bold contrast and adding depth. Above this negative space, a sequence of numbers, "29304260," is prominently displayed, inviting speculation on its significance. At the bottom right, the number "100" is boldly emphasized in a stylized font, encased within circular outlines, suggesting themes of value or completion. The juxtaposition of these elements—geometric precision with numerical intrigue—makes the piece both thought-provoking and visually arresting.
Presentation
The artist finds in drawing a way to explore the relevance of detail in the construction of images, objects and spaces.
The repetition of tiny elements such as the line in a drawing, lead to the construction of complex universes where that detail acquires value and becomes the basic unit, like the brick in a wall.
The gesture of the repetition of small elements and the time invested in doing it, is used as a tool to give "value" to the images that are constructed.
