Description
Quiet and dreamy, a face appears through lilac forest light. This original artwork on paper combines a delicate female portrait with layered botanical forms to create a calm, immersive visual experience. Fern textures, soft cool hues, and detailed pencil work give the composition a refined sense of stillness, as if the viewer has stepped into a silent morning forest where memory and nature merge.
The subtle palette of pale blue, lavender, lilac, and misty gray makes this piece especially suitable for modern interiors that need softness rather than noise. It is a strong choice for collectors who appreciate contemplative figurative artwork, botanical references, and poetic contemporary decor. It also works beautifully as a gift for someone who loves nature, serenity, and original artwork with emotional depth.
Colors and Shades Used
Pale blue, powder blue, icy blue, lilac, lavender, soft violet, dusty purple, blush pink, cool gray, misty gray, off-white, pearl white, muted mauve, and soft botanical blue-gray.

It is especially appealing to someone who prefers calm over noise, poetry over obvious statements, and artwork that reveals itself slowly.

Presentation
Alyona Masterkova is an artist whose work explores themes of identity, memory, and emotional introspection. She creates symbolic portraits using mixed media painting and drawing techniques, often incorporating textured surfaces and stencils. These materials allow her to express the passage of time and the traces it leaves behind.
Masterkova's art reflects on solitude, childhood impressions, and the search for personal meaning. Gardens frequently appear in her compositions, serving as metaphors for inner refuge and spiritual cultivation. Through her delicate use of symbolism, she evokes the invisible emotional landscapes that shape individual experience.
Trained in monumental painting with a background in mosaics, Masterkova brings a sense of structure and depth to her practice while maintaining a poetic sensitivity to the human condition.
In 2000, Alyona Masterkova graduated from St. Tikhon's Orthodox University with a degree in Monumental Painting, specializing in mosaics.
In 2023, she participated in the Contemporary Art program at the HSE School of Design.
Among her numerous group exhibitions, notable highlights include "Fullness" (an exhibition by the art association "Iskrennie") at the Tushino Gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association, and "Immersion" at the GLUBINA Gallery of Contemporary Art.
In 2022, Alyona Masterkova was awarded 1st place in the "World of Art" exhibition-competition at the New Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
Currently, she is working on the "Fluctuations" series of portraits, exploring themes of childhood memories and coming-of-age.
