Lithograph on Fabriano paper. Signed and numbered in pencil by the artist on the front. eg. 78/150. Embossed stamp of the printer lower right. Provenance Dialoghi Club Biella. Each graphic work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and provenance (signature and embossed stamp with description, photographic reference and numbering) issued in accordance with the law as authorized subjects. The works can be viewed in Rimini/Riccione, by appointment, without any commitment and kept in the protective folder without a frame, untouched and in perfect condition - any exceptions are always indicated in the description. The details and images of critical texts and/or catalogs are presented for descriptive and informative purposes only, they are not included in the sale but we will gladly release a copy upon request. The sample of graphics delivered could have a different numbering based on the availability of the edition. Shipping with tracking via express courier in professional rigid anti-burglary packaging.
Presentation
Nino Aimone (1932-2020) frequenta lo studio di Felice Casorati dal 1951 al 1954; in quegli anni è tra i fondatori della rivista “Orsa Minore”.
Fino al 1961, l’attività artistica è condizionata dal suo lavoro, prima come operaio quindi come disegnatore grafico pubblicitario presso la Fiat.
A partire dalla seconda metà del Novecento, a Cervo si formò così una piccola comunità di pittori torinesi, tutti esponenti di spicco del panorama artistico nazionale: tra i primi ad arrivare fu l’artista Francesco Casorati con il padre Felice e la madre Daphne Maugham.
Poco dopo giunsero Piero Martina, Francesco Menzio, Nicola Galante, Sergio Saroni, Romano Campagnoli con il padre Adalberto.
Fu la volta quindi dei più giovani Mauro Chessa e Nino Aimone.
A partire dal 1967 è assistente all’Accademia delle Belle Arti di Torino, prima al corso di Pittura, poi a quello di Incisione e infine a quello di Decorazione.
Nel 1989 gli viene assegnata la cattedra di Decorazione all’Accademia di Belle Arti, prima a Venezia e l’anno successivo a Torino dove insegna tutt’ora.
Ha esordito nel 1954, partecipando in seguito a varie importanti rassegne nazionali e internazionali: la XXVIII e la XXIX Biennale di Venezia e la Quadriennale di Roma del 1965 per citare le più importanti.
Nel 1995 e stata ordinata una mostra antologica al Circolo degli Artisti di Torino.
