This is an oil on canvas measuring 50 x 50 cm by the artist Laurent CHIMENTO. It is already mounted on a frame and includes the artist’s signature, a certificate of authenticity, and an additional signature on the back of the painting.
Laurent CHIMENTO is a self-taught professional French painter, born in 1974 in the south of France. His works often depict cubist landscapes or portraits of women, inspired by his passion for architecture, poetry, and the sea. Today, his works are part of numerous private collections worldwide. His art is listed by AKOUN at 1,200 euros for a 15P format.

Laurent Chimento is a professional painter born in 1974 in Manosque, in the Alpes de Haute Provence - A short introductory painting course in Vaucluse introduced him to this universe that he was enthusiastic about exploring - He was then 17 years - Self-taught, he studies bodies, volumes, draws with charcoal, contemplates the works of the great masters of painting - He sketches to improve his line, experiments with multiple techniques, gouache, watercolor, acrylic, oil etc.;
The artist's pictorial universe seizes us when beyond the colors, he plays with lines, curves, depths, bringing an original relief to the work as if he was seeking to solve a mystery or to stop time - It is above all pictoriality that obsesses him "It is not the object that counts, it is its pictoriality, because it is the expression of what lives in ourselves"
The notion of play is often present in the work of Laurent CHIMENTO, often counterbalanced by the tropism of a gravity which takes shape in the materiality of the work - From all of his contemporary works, distinguished by a paradoxical eclecticism, emerges a charm, poetry, reverie.
