Description
In the surreal space of this painting, the green tones of spring unfold as gently as the first warmth after a long night. Clear water plays with the waves, with the wind, and with the sunlight that is just beginning to rise above the horizon. And among this harmony of elements, a flower awakens — red, alive, as if newly born from light. It seems to rise from sleep to meet the new day and fill the air with its fragrance.
This scent of the garden is more than a memory. It is the breath of childhood — carefree and pure — where dreams came true effortlessly, and the world felt vast, kind, and generous. Within this fragrance lives everything: the joy of first discoveries, the warmth of love, and the feeling that the whole world was created to gift you the most beautiful moments of life.
On this canvas, I wanted to capture every inner state — gentle excitement, transparent joy, calmness, and deep gratitude for everything I have lived through. Because every human memory is a small pause in time, a moment of emotion given to us by God and our parents so that we never forget who we are and where our tenderness comes from.
This painting also carries its own history. It was exhibited this year in Kyiv at the "Landentity" project, and in the photographs taken in the halls of the Museum of the Ukrainian Diaspora, you can see how it became part of a broader dialogue about roots, memory, and the inner landscapes of a person.
The painting is also stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. This is clearly visible in the photos. It is completely ready to be hung on the wall — there are hooks for attaching the cord on the back, so it can be hung on the wall immediately. The edges are also painted, which is clearly visible in the photos. Please note that in the interior photos, the framed painting is shown for visualization purposes only. The painting has painted edges, so it can be hung on the wall without a frame.
The painting is signed on the lower edge of the stretcher.
