This striking artwork presents a surreal and bold portrait. The vivid blue background creates a striking contrast with the face, constructed from an explosion of color and geometric shapes. Originally from Bordeaux , France , Matias Machado is a contemporary painter whose work exists at the crossroads of abstraction, figuration, and urban culture. His compositions are built around tubular, sculptural shapes that suggest fragments of the human body.
