Description
“Burgundy Peonies"
This plein air painting was created in my garden, surrounded by silence, light, and the living breath of summer. Burgundy peonies — complex in both color and character — unfold here as a symbol of love and inner strength. Their deep, velvety tones shift with the light, moving from warm wine hues to cool, almost violet shadows.
The peony is often called the flower of love and the king of the garden — majestic, yet profoundly tender. In this work, my intention was not only to capture form and color, but also the living presence of the flower, its energy and the mood of the moment.
Claude Monet once said that he became a painter thanks to flowers. They teach us to see subtle nuances, to feel the light, and to trust first impressions. “Burgundy Peonies" is a quiet declaration of love to the garden, to flowers, and to painting itself — created from life, in a single breath.
Presentation
Laskina Alexandra. I have been drawing since childhood. I graduated from a Children's Art School,studied College of Culture at the Art-Decor Faculty. Nowadays, Istudy at Zaporizhzhia National University at the Faculty of Design. I am chairman of the public organization "Free artist". I participated in various exhibitions. In 2017 I took part in the international exhibition "Breath of Spring ",organized by the international organization "Art without Borders ". My favorite movements in painting are impressionism. Sometimes I create design work. My first personal exhibition took place in Kiev in December 2020.
