Description
The first painting in a series of lake landscapes.
Morning on the lake is a time of a blank canvas and a fresh start. Dawn does not arrive suddenly; it slowly seeps through the night mist, painting the world in delicate, almost weightless cool tones. At such moments, the air smells of the damp play of light, and the silence seems crystalline, as if it might shatter at the first bird's song. I wanted to convey this marvellous sense of renewal, when nature is just waking up and shaking off the shackles of sleep.
There is no evening tension in this state — lightness and hope reign here. The first rays of the sun pierce the clouds, like timid hints of a new day, and the water instantly responds to this call, taking on fresh emerald and turquoise hues. This landscape captures the pure joy of existence, the moment when the world is reborn before our eyes, inviting us to start afresh.
