Original painting
A soft light bathes this atmospheric landscape. The composition draws the eye toward a distant horizon. Muted purples and cool blues define the receding mountain peaks. A river flows calmly through the center of the frame. Its surface mirrors the pale sky with precise, horizontal strokes. The water transitions from deep cerulean to shimmering silver.
Lush greenery flanks the banks. Dark evergreen silhouettes provide a strong vertical contrast against the hazy background. The brushwork is fluid and expressive. It captures the ephemeral quality of morning mist. Warm ochre and gold tones emerge in the foreground foliage. These accents create a subtle tension with the dominant cool palette. The artist employs a layered technique to build depth. This approach evokes a sense of profound silence and solitude. Every stroke contributes to a harmonious balance between land and water. The artwork remains a study of light and serenity. It focuses on the quiet majesty of an untouched wilderness. The scene concludes with a gentle blur where the earth meets the sky.
Presentation
A native of Ivano-Frankivsk region, he lives and works in Transcarpathia in Mukachevo.
In 1965 he graduated from Mukachevo Pedagogical School, in 1978 - Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (Faculty of History),
1988 - Moscow People's University. N. Krupskaya (Faculty of Painting). He worked as a teacher in schools, deputy director of the
Art Design Factory in Mukachevo. He devoted about twenty years to teaching at the Mukachevo Pedagogical School. Participant of regional,
all-Ukrainian and foreign exhibitions. He has held several solo exhibitions - in Ivano-Frankivsk region (2009), Mukachevo (2007, 2012),
Kiev (2013).
