Description
This acrylic on canvas composition presents the stylized portrait of a standing cat, articulated by a sophisticated visual language with roots in Cubist and neo-figurative. The feline figure fragments into geometric and curvilinear planes where intense tones of blue, orange, green, and yellow interact, delimited by sharp lines that bring structure and dramatic intensity to the form. Kiri Aguilera (1982) es una artista de origen cubano, actualmente residente en España, cuya obra se distingue por un lenguaje visual sofisticado donde convergen la abstracción contemporánea, la figuración poética y la expresividad gestual.
Formada en escuelas profesionales de arte, su trayectoria revela una sólida base académica que se manifiesta en el dominio del dibujo, la composición y la construcción espacial del lienzo. Sobre esta estructura técnica, la artista ha desarrollado un estilo propio, profundamente reconocible, en el que la línea adquiere un papel protagonista como elemento de ritmo, tensión y narrativa visual.
