Description
Guy Delaroque considers the body as the main vehicle of the pictorial experience and installs us in the intimate by offering us an abstract reading of the nude. He made his sketches in black chalk, painted in acrylic or watercolor on canvas, complying with the requirements of the explosion of the point of view, the simplification of volumes and the depersonalization of individuality. Lines, curves, flat areas in black and white emerge like figures transformed in their own flesh into open fields. They are perfect abstractions that the viewer remains free to interpret.
Presentation
My name is Guy Delaroque and I have always expressed myself through art: first in adolescence through poetry, then through Fine Arts, then through Architecture where I graduated from DPLG , and builds buildings, then again through painting every day since 1996 when I was first recognized at the Hotel Drouot in Paris; since then, I have been selected to exhibit in Paris at the Salon d'Automne, in Europe, China, United States and Russia.
