Description
This oil painting captures a dense tapestry of human and animal forms. The composition is a rhythmic surge of energy. Bold lines carve out fragmented faces and distorted figures. A central bearded presence anchors the scene. Around it, masks and profiles overlap in a cubist dance. Warm ochres and deep reds dominate the palette. These colors create a visceral sense of passion and turmoil. The artist blends Armenian roots with a global modernist vision. Each curve suggests a different state of mind. The figures merge into a singular, pulsing entity. It is a study of the psyche. The brushwork is confident and precise. It transforms a flat surface into a psychological landscape. The artwork explores the complexity of inner feelings through figurative abstraction. A small house sits nestled among the forms. This architectural detail adds a touch of grounded reality to the dreamlike chaos. The piece concludes with a strong signature and date from 2003.
