Description
This artwork is a striking example of modern abstract portraiture, blending bold lines and vibrant colors to create a visually arresting piece. Dominated by a rich blue hat, the figure's face is composed of exaggerated, geometric features that challenge conventional forms. The double set of eyes, with their captivating blue hue, draw immediate attention, while the thick black outlines provide definition and depth. A flowing line suggests hair, adding dynamic movement. The teardrop shape contains an additional eye, introducing an element of surrealism and mystery. The artist's use of a minimal palette emphasizes contrast and highlights the fluidity of form. This piece uniquely combines whimsy and abstraction, demanding a closer exploration of identity and perception.
Presentation
Lena Bera-Pancini is a Polish artist who lives and creates in Brussels. She paints abstract & surrealistic paintings using bright colours and textured illuminating gold to energise viewers and activate positive emotions of joy, love, freedom, and peace.
Broad areas of white in her paintings add qualities of spaciousness and light into chaotic and busy lives. Such zen space invites viewers to get on a journey to cultivate more presence, it declutters reality, quiets the mind, and encourages expansiveness. Lena's artworks can be found in international private collections.
