Description
Presentation
Iván de la Rionda's painting follows a path in which the work of years drives an increasingly refined and expressive line, stripped of concessions, which facilitates a immediate communication.
In these paintings the figures burst forth with force to dissolve in the backgrounds, gestures energetic arms or hands languish, tired faces lose veiled or they hide behind masks, impulsive movements vanish sighing ...
Thus arises a poetic universe of winged and dark beings, of polysemic meaning, with nuances ranging from subtle to jarring, from delicate to misshapen, invites the viewer to complete the unfinished according to the dictation of their own experience personal, establishing a silent and tacit dialogue, in which the work is only a mediator, a bridge in our blind search for handholds.
