Description
This artwork, rich in nuances and textures, is a masterpiece of contemporary expression by Eric Ruelland. The canvas vibrates under splashes and drips of paint that evoke an irrepressible vitality. The dominant pastel colors blend with brighter tones, creating a striking contrast that immediately captures the eye. Upon closer inspection, the subtle shades of beige and peach form a harmonious base, while bursts of green, blue, orange and yellow bring a vibrant dynamic. These touches of color are applied with apparent spontaneity, giving the work a fluid and organic movement. The drips of paint, which descend in fine streaks, add a dimension of "gravity" and temporality, as if the colors had been frozen in their free fall. The shapes are abstract but suggest floral or natural patterns, perhaps reminiscent of the blurred impressions of a garden in bloom. This duality between abstraction and suggestion represents one of the captivating facets of this creation. The use of colors and diffusion and superposition techniques give an impression of depth and space. This painting is an eloquent example of contemporary art that pushes the boundaries of traditional form and immerses the viewer in a deep sensory exploration. Each glance discovers new nuances and interconnections, revealing the complexity and richness of the work.
Presentation
Éric Ruelland was born in France, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, near Paris. He is 48 years old. Her family is Breton. To paint for him is to play with chance. Éric Ruelland likes brushstrokes that create sprays, flaws that aren't actually flaws but substance, depth. It can speed up the process by inserting paper, sand or using a knife. The colored areas thus interact, balance or are unbalanced. A more recent part of his work goes to more colorful paintings. The inspiration lies in the beauty of the stones of Paris, in the golden limestone, worked overtime, worn, stained. It can also be the sky of Ile-de-France, its garden in Languedoc, but also the bark of trees, the lichen on the rocks.
