Description
In this painting, I've captured the enigmatic allure of a harbor under the veil of night, using acrylics to layer and blend the deep blues and playful lights. My approach combines figurative elements and impressionistic strokes, aiming to evoke a feeling of tranquil solitude mixed with the vibrant life of nighttime maritime activity. This piece invites the viewer to feel the cool evening air and reflect on the quiet moments of beauty in a bustling world.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
My figurative and abstract work are a synthesis of thousand of hours spent in the elements, studying light variations.
I spent more than a decade studying and practicing “en plein air" painting, working with my canvas and oil colors in the middle of an empty wheat field, or in front of the sea, rainy or sunny day.
I followed a rigorous training based on a classic atelier-like approach: drawing, color and light study, and deep knowledge of materials.
My art is represented by established galleries in Italy, and are found in private collection in Europe, USA, Cina, Qatar.
Education:
Private workshop with Marc Dalessio and Nathan Sowa.
Years of copying old Masters.
