Description
Klish 1
"Butterflies" by Andriy Klishyn is a vibrant and dynamic painting that captures the beauty and fragility of nature through expressive brushstrokes and rich textures. The artwork features two butterflies, one in striking blue and the other in vivid green, set against a lush, abstract background of foliage and light.Klishyn employs thick, impasto strokes to add depth and movement to the composition, allowing the butterflies to appear almost as if they are in mid-flight. The contrast between the bold black outlines and the textured, free-flowing background enhances the sense of motion and liveliness.Through this painting, the artist conveys a sense of freedom, transformation, and harmony with nature. The butterflies symbolize change, renewal, and fleeting beauty, reminding the viewer of life's delicate yet resilient essence. The vivid color palette and expressive technique evoke a feeling of joy and spontaneity, celebrating the wonders of the natural world.

He graduated from the Technical and Economic Institute and worked as an engineer, teacher, and then in the field of insurance, finance and banking. Since May 2014, a forced migrant has been living in Kyiv.
The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
