Through her paintings and photographs Cécile Gonne-Victoria questions the reality of the world around us. She proposes to free herself from the simple form to go further beyond what we think we see.
She questions the appearance, explores the energy that emerges from all things. Lines of force and vibrant colors create a sublimated link between fragments of collaged snapshots. The energy given by the brushstrokes and the scratches of the knives galvanizes each of his compositions.
This approach that links appearance and deep energetic reality makes her work a singular combination.
