"Withered forest" — Serene Modern Landscape Artwork, Acrylic & Oil on Canvas, Rich Teal & Green Palette, Nature-Inspired Decor
The idea for a series of paintings about withered trees came to the artist when he noticed such trees standing in a lake in Siberia. The lake most likely had no name — a small body of water by the roadside in the Kemerovo region, where the artist was born. Each time he passed by, he looked at the dozen trees rising from the water and felt that there was a special charm in the gradual withering of nature, a beauty of its own. Life is cyclical: the birth of life and its decay. The lake itself was full of life — fishermen often cast their lines there, all visible from the road.
Years later, however, a concentrating plant was built across the road. Coal from the local mines was brought there, processed, and water was taken from the same lake. The Kuzbass is, after all, the coal region of Russia. Yet once water passes through industrial processes, it never returns in the same chemical or molecular form.
For the artist, this contrast became symbolic: the more humanity expands its possessions, the more it inevitably intrudes into the wild natural world. And the more cynical the human, the more cynical the changes to nature become.
In this series, the withered trees are shown as if they dried up due to natural causes. Through color, the artist sought to convey the quiet beauty of fading, rather than the destructive scale of industry. You will not see dark water, oil stains, dead fish, or bulldozed land. Instead, the focus remains on fragments of beauty — fleeting, sometimes melancholic, but worth remembering. To hold on to them is to remember that nature is beautiful, and to love it.
The painting is stretched on canvas, sold without a frame, and comes ready to hang. It is signed on the back with the artist's full name and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

Presentation
Natalia is a artist who works with oil and acrylic paints, creating voluminous and dramatic brushstrokes using palette knives and brushes. This texturing is a distinctive feature of her artworks.
The primary subject of Natalia's exploration is nature, and her works pay special attention to the fragility and strength of nature, its beauty, and purity. Her art is focused on conveying the emotional aspects of nature and inspires viewers to contemplate the fragility of natural beauty and humanity's impact on it.
Her works primarily feature landscapes, including mountain and seascape scenes. In her art, she strives to depict the beauty of the world, encouraging viewers to reflect on the fragility of nature and its interaction with humanity. In her conceptual pieces about nature and its feelings, nature takes on the form of a woman telling a story.
A mixed technique in these works allows her to convey her concept more vividly and have a stronger impact on viewers, highlighting important aspects of nature.
Natalia also conducts open masterclasses for children, aiming to unleash their creative potential, and actively participates in charitable exhibitions in her city.
She has experience in organizing personal exhibitions, such as "Landscapes through the Eyes of an Artist" in Moscow in 2021 and "The Story of Nature's Soul" in the Moscow Library in 2022.
Among the numerous group exhibitions in which Natalia has participated, it is worth mentioning "ARTBOX.PROJECT World 2.0" at URBANSIDE Gallery in Switzerland, as well as the exhibition project "MOODACT & SMENA 2.0" in Moscow. Her artworks can be found in collections in Scotland and Germany.
Currently, Natalia is working on a new series using ink pens and black watercolor for an art fair, The Other Art Fair, scheduled for 2024.
