Description
This fascinating work juxtaposes a classic maritime landscape with unexpected pop elements. In the foreground, colorful rubber ducks add a surreal and playful touch, contrasting sharply with the dark and cloudy maritime scene. The background shows an imposing lighthouse and industrial fumes, evoking a bygone era. The presence of the ducks creates a bold visual play while questioning the line between tradition and modernity. The ducks' vibrant color palette immediately catches the eye, creating a stunning dynamic with the gray tones of the sky and sea. This artful blend of styles and eras offers a subtle and humorous critique of classical art, while celebrating artistic innovation.
Presentation
Currently, my work is articulated between these pop diversions, canvases where the pop spirit is more present, and more direct drawings with Posca. I like my works to reflect a certain vitality, which is why you will often find bright colors, sometimes even fluorescent, and plays of light that bring dynamism. My goal is for color and energy to be felt in each piece.
