Description
This original artwork "Fragments of time II" was created by the contemporary Russian artist Yulia Belasla and is available for sale online.
The painting "Fragments of Time II" is a continuation and development of the theme of the continuity of cultural codes and memories associated with the image of female beauty. The composition is built unusually: the upper part of the painting is occupied by a fragment of a woman's face with emphatically graphic lips and a scattering of pearl beads, as if falling from the heights of the past. The lower part of the canvas is dedicated to a stylized female face, crowned with a bright, geometric kokoshnik in shades of blue, red, pink, turquoise and gold. The elements of the kokoshnik look like fragments of time, fragments of memories, folding into an intricate mosaic crown. The golden background symbolizes nobility and eternity. The canvas seems to capture a moment of dialogue between different eras: the past hovers over the present, connecting them with an invisible thread of jewelry and memory. The work combines notes of tradition, modernity and art deco, inviting the viewer to reflect on the pricelessness of time and the depth of the female image in culture.
Presentation
"I combine mythology, legends and assemble them into an anthropomorphic image. It is read through signs sewn into the perceptions of each person. In my opinion, emotions are the brightest color of the universe, a universal language understood by everyone."
