Description
This work juxtaposes a human face with a porcelain facade delicately decorated with blue floral motifs and a dragon. The left half reveals a lifelike woman with penetrating eyes and soft skin, while the right half transforms into a thick, ornate ceramic. Cracks in the porcelain add a dramatic dimension, symbolizing the fragility and duality of identity. The dragon's intricate details evoke power and mystery, contrasting with the softness of the portrait. The dark background intensifies the contrast between the two halves, heightening the visual impact. This composition skillfully blends realism and decorative art, inviting profound reflection on the nature of appearance and the complexity of the human soul.
Presentation
I like to let my imagination wander beyond the windows. I like this symbol which leaves the opening in both directions; The escape into the unknown and the invitation into my imagination.
My motto: "Painting is an art that exists only through the sharing of emotions, first with oneself, then with others ..."
Regarding his work on the nude and his approach to the body: “I like to extend the curves, so as not to delimit the voluptuousness… Accentuated by the most representative color, in my opinion, red. But the other colors are absorbed in order to project into different atmospheres. "
He has exhibited regularly since 1981.
