This oil painting depicts a sleeping Jesus, with a cord connected to his halo, symbolizing power from an electrical outlet.
The composition features a close-up of a sleeping Jesus, occupying most of the painting, surrounded by a bed and a wall. His head is in the upper center, while his body is positioned diagonally, creating visual interest. A power cord from an electrical outlet located on the right leads to the halo above Jesus's head, symbolizing a connection to the source of energy. The painting conveys stillness and peace, framed by a dark frame that accentuates the central image.

The painting's protagonist, Jesus, is depicted with long brown hair and a beard, sleeping with his eyes closed. His face expresses peace, and his features are meticulously detailed. He is dressed in a simple cream shirt. A golden halo shines above his head. His hands are folded across his chest in a gesture of repose. Beside him, on a nightstand, is an electrical outlet with a plugged-in cord.

The painting is executed in a realistic style using oil paints. The artist uses smooth color transitions to create a realistic depiction of skin, fabric, and surroundings. The bright light from the halo creates a radiant effect around Jesus's head. The brushwork is delicate, creating detailed textures, such as in the hair and folds of the sheet. The overall atmosphere conveys a sense of peace and spirituality.

The background depicts a bedroom interior with a bed and a wall. Soft lighting emanates from the halo, illuminating Jesus's face and surroundings. The light creates soft shadows and highlights details, such as the texture of the pillow and the folds of the sheet. The overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, with an emphasis on peace and spirituality. The painting is executed in a realistic style with a clear academic leaning. It is reminiscent of traditional religious painting, but with a contemporary element.

The overall atmosphere of the painting is calm and tranquil. The palette is soft, dominated by muted shades of white, beige, brown, and gold. The use of light and shadow is very delicate, creating a sense of volume and depth.

The artist used oil paints to create this work, allowing her to achieve subtle color transitions and realistically render textures such as bed linens, skin, and hair. The composition is centered around the figure, drawing the viewer's attention to the central image. The painting depicts a sleeping Jesus with a halo, plugged into an electrical outlet, adding a contemporary element to the traditional religious theme.
