Description
Composed of over 180,000 individual dots, built in a precise dotwork halftone style and sealed under resin, the result is an image poised between control and decay.
A clear line structures the space – seemingly calm, seemingly balanced.
But it is not a clean break, but a scar, crisscrossed by cracks and irregularities.
An element that suggests stability while already containing the fracture within itself.
Within this structure, a reality unfolds that cannot be decided:
Primal power, nature, instinct – and at the same time compression, acceleration, system.
Not opposites, but states that exist in parallel and displace each other.
The butterfly symbolizes transformation, but here it appears fragile and tense.
Change does not appear as progress, but as a process between creation and loss.
What appears to be equilibrium is in reality an unstable moment.
A situation that can change at any time.

My paintings convey the here and now, reflecting what is revealed, but can not always be expressed.
With my art I want to create space and opportunities to discover the connection with their own. My inspiration is the past and my experiences which I was allowed to experience, shape my paintings and make each one unique.
