Description
This striking painting depicts the portrait of a young woman in a moment of total abandon, her head thrown back in a frank laugh or a liberating cry of joy.
The low-angle shot accentuates the feeling of dynamism and exaltation emanating from the subject.
The closed eyes suggest that this joy is experienced from within, a moment of intimate connection with oneself.
The artist uses a powerful contrast between the electric blue of the background, almost textured in places, and the warm, organic tones (ochres, oranges, magentas) of the face and hair.
This contrast reinforces the solar energy emanating from the portrait.
The artist is not only trying to reproduce the features of a face, but to make a universal emotion tangible.
The bold and saturated use of color is reminiscent of Pop Art aesthetics, while maintaining a more traditional pictorial depth through the treatment of skin tones.
With its strong color presence, this piece is ideal for furnishing a modern living space. It brings a touch of contagious optimism and immediate strength of character to any collection.
The work falls within a contemporary expressionist movement.
Presentation
Through a warm palette and a decidedly contemporary touch, she explores the feminine universe not as a simple subject but as a source of pure emotion.
In her portraits, she does not seek to freeze an image but to capture the radiance of a presence and the relevance of a moment by paying particular attention to the eyes.
His visuals, joyful and relaxed, move away from rigid classicism to embrace life as it is: authentic, sunny and moving.
Through a play of warm colors and an enveloping light, the artist paints scenes of life that resonate with each of us. Each painting is likely to act as a personal memento. The viewer does not simply look at the work, he projects himself into it and finds himself reflected in it.
"Painting the ordinary to make it extraordinary"
She is driven by the desire that her paintings "do good" to those who look at them by communicating to them this beautiful energy of happiness, sun and wind in their hair... these bursts of life.
