Description

Dreamlike colors and expressive marks create quiet mystery. Created with acrylic on canvas, this original artwork combines layered brushstrokes, flowing drips, and atmospheric color fields to explore memory, dreams, and the fleeting nature of perception. Deep charcoal grays, smoky violets, warm ivory, amber, and muted earth tones interact in a sophisticated composition that feels both spontaneous and carefully balanced. The artwork invites quiet reflection while remaining intentionally open to interpretation, allowing every viewer to discover a unique emotional connection. Its contemporary palette complements modern, minimalist, industrial, Scandinavian, and luxury interiors, making it a striking statement piece. It is also an exceptional gift for collectors of abstract art, interior designers, architects, and anyone looking to enrich a contemporary space with elegant gallery-quality artwork.

Presentation

Oksana Buryakova is a painter, graphic artist, and decorator who approaches painting as a means of self-discovery and profound communication. Through abstract imagery, she seeks to establish a universal language that connects her with her audience.

A professional artist, Oksana has devoted her life to her craft, creating over 300 original artworks. Her pieces, known for their distinctive and inimitable style, reflect her unique perspective and emotions. She paints intuitively, expressing how she sees and feels without imitating others, which gives her work a recognizable individuality.

Oksana's art practice is deeply rooted in her formal training at the Yaroslavl Art Institute, where she developed a strong artistic foundation. She has participated in several exhibitions across Russia, including notable showcases such as:

  • Art-Object, Yaroslavl (2018)
  • Regional exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Russia, Yaroslavl (2018–2020)
  • City N. Russian Province, Yaroslavl (2019)
  • Floral Allegories, personal exhibition, Yaroslavl (2020)
  • Anniversary Exhibition ART 1010, Yaroslavl (2020)
  • Traveling Exhibitions, Moscow–Yaroslavl (2020)
  • In the Color of Recent Events, personal exhibition, Yaroslavl (2020).
  • In her daily practice, Oksana works from her studio, where she paints, collaborates with fellow artists, and teaches drawing to children and adults. Her artistic inspiration often comes from flowers and the natural world. She frequently creates still lifes featuring flowers and surrounding objects, finding endless fascination in their simplicity and vibrancy. These works allow her to convey the states, emotions, and feelings that inspire her.
