Description
A bold composition where color prevails. A central red circle dominates the space. It evokes a sun or a ripe fruit. Around this shape, dark silhouettes intertwine. The gesture is fast. The acrylic paint is applied with spontaneity. Black and purple lines cut through the canvas. They suggest bodies in motion or calligraphic letters.
The chromatic contrast creates visual tension. The red saturates the gaze. It brings immediate energy. The white background allows the composition to breathe. One perceives a search for identity and form. The figurative style fades behind the abstraction of the line. This piece dates from 2013. It mixes the precision of drawing and the freedom of gesture. The whole forms a balance between force and lightness. The final rendering reveals the texture of the support.
