Description
A powerful explosion of energy defines this abstract composition. Deep turquoise and cerulean tones dominate the canvas. They create an immersive atmospheric depth. Thick impasto layers build a tactile landscape. Vigorous brushstrokes clash with sudden splashes of paint. Dark navy and burgundy accents ground the lighter hues. These deep tones inject a sense of drama and tension. Small fragments of gold flicker through the chaos. They suggest hidden light within a storm. The movement feels spontaneous and raw. It captures a moment of emotional release. Each gesture is precise yet wild. The contrast between the bright blue and the dark core draws the eye inward. This tension creates a dynamic equilibrium. The textures vary from smooth washes to heavy ridges. This variety adds a physical dimension to the visual experience. Light reflects off the raised peaks of the white paint. It evokes the spray of a crashing wave or the turbulence of a nebula. The composition remains open and breathable. The edges bleed into a luminous blue field. The final effect is a balanced study of chaos and harmony.
Presentation
Davide Angelillo was born in Imperia in northern Italy in 1988.
He is a self-taught Italian painter. He began drawing as a child and then discovered the art of painting.
He began to experiment with different typologies initially, from landscape to realistic and then discovered in abstraction a world where he could express his feelings and visions, something that only abstract art can translate.
The painting technique used is excellent quality acrylic which gives a brilliant consistency to the canvas. While in the creation he uses a mixed execution technique, from the brush to the spatulas and also the use of the fingers.
His works have been exhibited nationwide and present in various private collections.
