Description
I titled this painting "Neon Labyrinth". Done entirely with a painting knife, I used this technique to capture the vibrant energy and dynamism of Tokyo's buildings. The knife strokes add rich texture and striking contrasts, evoking the intricate interweaving of buildings and lights that characterize the city. My goal was to convey the electric atmosphere and excitement of Tokyo, where every street corner reveals a new spectacle of neon lights and urban structures. This abstract work seeks to convey the very essence of modern urban life, blending chaos and harmony in a labyrinth of colors and shapes.
Presentation
Thibault Vigneron is a painter passionate about knife painting, a technique he favors for the texture, shine, and movement it brings to his artworks. Inspired by themes of fashion, pop culture, and travel, he creates dynamic works that capture the energy of these worlds.
As a draftsman, he draws inspiration from fashion illustrations, comics, and graphic novels, blending these influences to bring unique and expressive creations to life.
The son of renowned painter Marc Vigneron, Thibault grew up in an artistic environment, immersed in the world of art from a young age. Today, he continues this family legacy while developing his own artistic voice.
At the same time, he teaches drawing, driven by a desire to pass on his passion and skills to the next generations.
