Description
A pink silhouette wraps itself in a protective gesture. The body, with generous and rounded forms, occupies almost all the space. The posture evokes an intimate retreat. The face, with calm features, seems immersed in deep contemplation.Â
The oil technique allows for precise modeling. The pink gradients create a fleshy relief. This softness contrasts with the rigor of the ground. The character rests on a geometric chessboard. Red and blue triangles structure the base of the composition.Â
The chromatic choice marks a sharp break. The saturation of pink opposes the mathematical repetition of the lower motifs. The whole exudes a feeling of melancholic calm. This painting of 2026 explores the tension between human fragility and the rigidity of an organized frame. The closed gaze emphasizes the introspective aspect of the scene. Every curve guides the eye towards the center of the embrace.
Presentation
Sad monsters club
I like expressive faces,
clementines,
cupid's bow,
On stormy evenings,
Big ears.
I feel reassured when it rains.
I live surrounded by my works, my monsters.
My artistic project is a gallery of portraits in bright colors in contrast with sad and melancholic expressions, questioning and imploring looks, a way of communicating concern about the current world.
