Description
The image is established by a deep and saturated blue. A face occupies the entire space. The gaze is central. It expresses a silent melancholy. Two white flowers emerge from the eyes. Their thin stems descend like frozen tears.
The contrast between the vivid color and the sadness of the subject creates a visual tension. Oil painting allows for fluid gradients. The light sculpts the reliefs of the nose and lips with precision. The dark background accentuates the solitude of the portrait.
This composition questions our relationship to pain and hope. The style favors raw expressiveness. Every stroke emphasizes a contained emotion. The line is sharp. The composition remains centered and symmetrical. This painting dates from 2026.
Presentation
Sad monsters club
I like expressive faces,
clementines,
cupid's bow,
On stormy evenings,
Big ears.
I feel reassured when it rains.
I live surrounded by my works, my monsters.
My artistic project is a gallery of portraits in bright colors in contrast with sad and melancholic expressions, questioning and imploring looks, a way of communicating concern about the current world.
