Description
This painting was inspired by a beach in Miami and hot summer days. For four months each year, I indulge in beachside hedonism—giving me memories to hold onto during the gray season.
In this acrylic piece, I have blurred the lines between realism and surrealism, infusing it with a touch of energetic pop art. The serene gaze of the moon falls upon the rhythmic ocean waves, creating a dance of light and shadow, while whimsical sea grasses frame the scene, transporting the viewer into a dreamlike space. This painting is intended to evoke a sense of calm wonder and fill any environment with an atmosphere of enchanting mystery.
The painting is executed on a fine-weave canvas, resulting in an impeccably smooth surface. For added durability, the canvas is mounted onto a rigid backing (a panel). The piece weighs 7 kilograms.
