Description
This oil painting explores the boundary between abstraction and figuration. The composition revolves around a clear, almost spherical central form, which seems to float in an ethereal space. The material is worked generously. The knife or the brush leaves marked traces, creating a tactile and rhythmic relief.
The palette favors shades of blue and white, evoking the purity of the air or the depth of the water. A few touches of yellow and red come to break this cold harmony. These flashes of color bring luminous tension and immediate dynamism.
Presentation
Graduated from ICART (Institut des Carrières Artistiques) in 1984. Painting restorer and painter. Bronze medal from the Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres Paris 2021. Prize for Abstract Expression from the École de la Loire (AIEL) in 2022 and 2023.
Exhibitions in Paris, Senlis, Toulouse, Limoges, Le Puy-en-Velay, Boulogne-Billancourt.
Mainly abstract, but always on the verge of figuration, Claire de Noinville's work is a joyful explosion, a bouquet from which nature, its forces, its movements, its anger too, escape.
Her art is cosmic and human at the same time, interior, without artifice.
