Description
This striking artwork features a colossal insect sculpture, set against a backdrop of towering urban skyscrapers. Frank Williams born 1947, St. Louis, Missouri, USA, has been living in Russia since 1993. Williams' comprehensive body of work includes sculptures, flat-works, furniture, photography, digital, and public art works. The American Center, Moscow, The Museum of History and Art, Yegorevsk, The Museum of Fine Art, Yaroslavl, Exit Art Gallery, Cologne, Germany, International Gallery of Contemporary Art, Anchorage, Alaska, ARC Gallery, Chicago, Gallery Manege, Moscow, The Museums of Fine Art in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Tomsk, Tver, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo,Yekaterinburg, and Black Dog Gallery, Moscow, Russia; among others. Group shows include Haifa, Israel, Havana, Cuba, Houston, Texas, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Yekaterinburg, Russia, Cologne, Italy, Germany, Mexico City, Mexico, Honolulu, Hawaii, Seattle, and San Francisco among others.
