The Silences of the World brings together twelve photographs taken over several years, between landscapes, shores and interiors.
They were taken in different locations — France, Cuba, Asia — but without documentary intent.
What connects them is a way of inhabiting time: slow, attentive, almost motionless.
The series explores the discreet presence of things, the trace of human passage, and the beauty of silence.
Some images are in color, others in black and white: a dialogue between memory and sensation, between distance and intimacy.
