Lídia Vives is a young photographer born January 29, 1991, she lives and works in Barcelona. Lídia Vives studied Fine Arts in Barcelona, she currently works as a fashion, musical bands and artistic photographer. Her work is characterized by her pictorial representations, the use of color and the dreamlike quality that she manages to transmit through her images. When she takes a photograph, her main interest is not only the technical effect, but also the trivial. Her goal is to make people interpret her photographs, to challenge the viewer. The viewer has to look at the photographs for a while in order to understand the story they are telling. The principal idea is to create disturbing images and to make clear that they are only one image out of a sequence: Fragments. Lídia Vives doesn't want to create scenes, she wishes to create new worlds.
