Presentation
Théo Gosselin is a French photographer born in 1990 near Le Havre. Today he lives and works in Amiens. He studied graphic design, and started photography in 2007, soon becoming his passion.
He is mostly famous for his bohemian pictures taken during different road-trips around the world. For example his documentary « Goodbye Horses » talks about his road-trip in the United States in 2012. Golden skin, van tours and field nights: « We Drink Gasoline » relates the journey of a young man in California, surrounded by friends and people he met by chance on the road, with whom he shares memorable moments.
Théo Gosselin pictures are a true homage to freedom, captured like a snapshot, thanks to his film camera that he totally masters. His favorite themes are life, love, his generation, his adventures, and large spaces; in definition a youth thirsted for freedom and an alternative living, where human values and harmony with nature dominate.
Théo Gosselin is the photographer of simple but heart-breaking pictures, which speak the language of feelings and true emotions. Without artifices or lies, the young photographer captures the intimacy with tenderness and accompanies to adulthood.
His photographic book « Avec le coeur », published by Lic in 2013, was first exhausted and then republished in February 2014. His new photo album, « Sans limites » is available since 2015.
His photographs were also published in the daily Libération in California and exposed at the Palais de Tokyo in 2015.
